Let’s get started! Following several major GTA 6 leaks over the past month that resulted in the game trending on Twitter and an official job offering hinting at a spectacular graphical update, a finding that is said to hold clues as to when the next Grand Theft Auto will be revealed has begun circulating online.
The fantastic news is that the GTA 6 reveal date timing frame inferred from this information is at the same time as several other leaks have claimed. The revelation, which is currently making its way around the online Grand Theft Auto community, points to a GTA 6 release date of November 24th, this year.
There have already been numerous leaks, all of which pointed to a GTA 6 reveal in late 2021, and these appear to have built up a significant head of steam in terms of veracity, which is possibly why a relatively obscure Easter Egg in Red Dead Redemption 2 has generated such a fuss.
To cut a long story short, a YouTuber discovered something in RDR2 that they then linked to Grand Theft Auto and, more excitingly for us, a probable GTA 6 announcement date. In the game, the bones of a man can be found in a remote location, and on his body is a note that, according to the YouTuber, has a double meaning and links to real-world events and individuals connected with Rockstar and their company Take-Two Interactive.
he YouTuber makes a lot of interesting, though unprovable, theorizing about the contents of the letter and what it truly implies, but the key takeaway from the letter is its date, November 24.
And, to make matters even more interesting, if the GTA 6 announcement date is November 24th, 2021, then the GTA 6 release date appears to be November 2023. What evidence do we have? Because that two-year gap existed between the reveal and release dates of both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Basically, assuming Rockstar keeps true to its release schedule, PS5 and Xbox Series X users may expect to play GTA 6 in November 2023. That’s undoubtedly welcome news for many, who were recently disappointed by a report that GTA 6 wouldn’t be released until 2025.
So there’s certainly a lot of leak and rumor here, and very little of what we’ve heard can be proven in any way. As a result, the standard salt shaker should always be on hand.
However, there’s no denying that GTA 6 rumors and leaks have accelerated significantly in recent months, which may be a hint of big things to come. And soon, with November 24th only a little more than 5 weeks away.
So, here’s hoping that gamers get their first look at GTA 6 sooner rather than later because there’s no doubt that it’s the number one cross-platform game that most gamers want.
Rockstar should be able to really flex its muscles in terms of breadth and graphic fidelity in GTA 6, thanks to the power available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, making the game a true benchmark for what the next-gen consoles are capable of.
If the game is released in 2023, both consoles will be far into their life cycles, with developers knowing how to program for them and milk every last drop of performance out of them.
